What is the booking fee?
Booking fees vary by event and by ticket price and are set by the event organiser and ticketing agent. These fees cover relevant costs associated to the business including supporting our online platform, software development, card processing fees, admin costs, staffing and online fraud protection.
Is there a limit to how many tickets I can buy?
You can purchase a max of 10 tickets per order.

Do I need to create an account to purchase tickets?
To purchase tickets, you can create/sign in using a moshtix account. It's a super quick process so you'll be fine!
Alternatively, if you already have a moshtix account, we suggest getting the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your account details ahead of time. Remember to triple check your passwords, delivery address and billing information now, so you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order. What payment methods are available?
When purchasing tickets online via moshtix, acceptable payment methods include Visa, Mastercard and PayPal.
I cant afford tickets this week, will they still be available next week?
We cannot predict when tickets will sell out so to avoid disappointment we advise purchasing sooner than later so you don't miss out!
Can I use Facebook to try buy or sell a ticket?
No! Any posts on Grow Your Own's Facebook page regarding buying or selling tickets will be removed. Tickets cannot be obtained through any other means, such as unauthorised ticket resellers (ie: Viagogo), Gumtree or by direct transfer from another individual.
Will I get into Grow Your Own with a forged ticket?
Any tickets to Grow Your Own found to be tampered with or forged will not be valid for entry.
Are wristbands exchangable? I.e. Can I pass mine onto a friend if I can't/ don’t want to stay?
No, wristbands are strictly non-transferable. Once your wristband is on, it should not be removed for the duration of the event. If you are found without a wristband you will be asked to leave the venue.
Can I get a refund?
Sorry, Grow Your Own have a strict no refund policy; as outlined in the event T&C's. Thanks for your understanding.
I can't make it anymore! Will there be a resale facility?
If you’ve purchased ticket/s to Grow Your Own and can no longer attend, you can pass your ticket/s onto a friend or family member at face value. Flip side, please only purchase tickets from a known and trusted friend at cost price.
Should I buy a ticket online from someone I don’t know?
We strongly discourage patrons purchasing from any unauthorized third party sellers at inflated prices, we can’t guarantee legitimacy of tickets purchased outside the Grow Your Own official ticketing platform.
We will be scanning all tickets on arrival and you will not be granted entrance if the barcode has already been scanned. If you’re buying from a trusted friend for the face value price of the ticket that is fine.
Replacing lost or compromised tickets?

I have a fraud ticket
Unfortunately there is no further way we can assist on our end. We clearly communicate to not purchase tickets from untrustworthy sources or via ads on social media, online sales and auction sites or the like.
We cannot guarantee the validity of any ticket not purchased via our official ticketing platform, moshtix. We are under no obligation to replace free of charge any fraudulent tickets purchased in this way.
When will I receive my tickets?
You should receive your PDF ticket just after you have completed your purchase. Please be patient though and allow 24 hours for tickets to be emailed through. If after 24 hours you still have not received your ticket, please get in touch with the friendly staff at moshtix via http://tixsupport.moshtix.com.au/home or 1300 438 849
How will I receive my tickets?
All tickets will be sent via email and will be sent to the email address linked to your moshtix account, which you would've purchased your tickets under. These PDF tickets can either be printed out or scanned on a mobile device.
How do long do I have to complete my purchase?
There are no time limits on transactions. However to secure your tickets, please ensure you move through the purchase process quickly but carefully.
Will there be buses running to the festival?
Yes. Shuttle busses are the best way to get to and from GYO! There will be dedicated shuttle busses from throughout the Forster/Tuncurry region. Routes, stop locations and timetables will be published closer to the event.
How much will the bus be?
What time does the festival start and finish?
Festival operating hours are 11:00am to 10:00pm
Will there be parking?
Yes. There will be dedicated paid event parking near to the event. Parking prices to be announced closer to the event. We encourage car-pooling so if you come with four or more, parking is free! Note: We do not condone drink driving. If you plan on consuming alcohol, leave your car at home and catch the shuttle bus : )
Can I bring my own drinks?
No. GYO is a licensed venue so any outside alcohol will be confiscated.
Will there be food and alcohol for sale at the festival?
Yes, there will be multiple bars and food vendors, serving up quality produce and tasty beverages!
Will there be an ATM at the festival or is it cash only?
There will be cash out and eftpos facilities at the bar.
Will there be merch for sale at this event? Is it card or cash only?
Merch will be sold for the event and our performers. The merch tent will have cash and eftpos facilities.
Can I bring shade structures or chairs to the event?
No. Please do not bring anything that can cause a potential trip hazard. For full list of what to bring/what not to bring, see our Conditions of Entry information page.
Do I need to bring ID?
Yes. No Photo ID = No Entry. Acceptable forms of ID are Passports, Australian State Drivers Licences, Australian State Proof Of Age Cards.
Can I bring my ticket on my phone or do I need to print it out?
Keep your ticket handy in the ticketing app/email or print your ticket/s out and bring them along with you.
No, strictly no pass outs. We’ll have plenty of great entertainment, food and drinks to keep you going throughout the day.
Can I get a refund on tickets I've purchased?

Is there a dress code for this event?
No Masks, weapons or other illegal paraphernalia - otherwise express yourself!
How can I be respectful to nearby residents of the festival?
Keep the streets/our beautiful environment clean! Please don’t litter on the way to or out of the festival.

Conditions of entry
For the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all persons attending this event; we have in place these conditions of entry.
To enter this event site, you must have a valid ticket or other approved authorization and or accreditation
This event is 18+, Patrons will be required to present photo ID as proof of age
Accepted forms of ID are Photo Drivers License, NSW Photo Card, Current Passport
Any person gaining unauthorized access to this event will be liable to prosecution
Any person found not to be wearing an official event wristband will be ejected from the event
Promoters and organisers reserve the right to search all persons and all personal possessions at the time of entry to the venue.
Failure to comply will mean you will be prevented from entering the event; this is a condition of entry
This event is fully licensed. Alcohol sales are subject to Responsible Service of Alcohol Practices.
We are prohibited by law from serving liquor to patrons under the age of 18 and intoxicated persons
Activities such as ‘stage diving’, ‘moshing’, ‘climbing’ and ‘crowd surfing’ are strictly prohibited
Persons causing a disturbance or refusing to comply with requests from Security will be ejected from the event
The promoters and organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or reject patrons from the event at its sole discretion
The promoter or venue shall not be held liable for loss, injury or damages sustained entering or at the event
By entering this event site, you agree to be filmed or photographed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes
The promoter reserves the right to vary advertised programmes and to add, withdraw or substitute artists where necessary
Smoking is not permitted within 4 metres of any dining areas.
Anyone found to be breaking conditions of entry inside or outside the event or any behaviour deemed to be anti-social will be refused entry and/or ejected from the site without refund.
By using our medical facilities, you consent to the promoter having access to your medical records
The following restricted or prohibited items are not permitted by patrons into the event:
Glass. No glass is allowed for safety reasons.
Anything that may reasonably be considered a weapon at Security’s discretion
Professional photo or video equipment. Small cameras and digital SLRs for personal use are fine
Animals (other than registered guide dogs).
Umbrellas, Canopies, Tents or Shade Structures
Furniture, including camping chairs, couches, etc.
BBQs, cookers, gas bottles, fireworks, generators
Any BYO alcohol
Lasers or laser pointers
Flags with poles, large flags or banners that may obstruct the view of other patrons
Any item that you intend (or such quantities of the item from which Management can reasonably infer that you intend) to distribute,
hawk, sell, offer, expose for sale or display for marketing or promotional purposes
Any other items as determined by Security or Management that may cause injury or public nuisance; and
Plastic sealed or opened drink containers (only empty reusable water bottles are allowed into the event)
